As a firm that designs for both online and print, we are very concerned about making responsible decisions for the communication solutions we develop. Our promise is to keep the environment in mind while we design, develop options that won't waste paper, and use companies who have made it a point to follow good environmental practices such as printers who are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Our definition
In 1987 the UN Conference defined sustainabilty as the "policies and strategies that meet society’s present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." For James Klein Creative, sustainability extends to design decisions that recognize the need to be good stewards of our land, water and energy resources.
Thinking beyond the basics...and developing a strategy
We work with clients to develop marketing and outreach tools for communicating the sustainable practices they've launched for their products, services and company.
Green without "greenwashing"
Being creative and avoiding the "me-too" messaging of sustainability can be difficult, especially with many of the images and words sounding just like everyone else. So how can your company be a good environmental citizen without falling into the visual and verbal trap of looking just like everyone else? Ask us! That is one of our passions.
